Hi, I would like to convert the velocity derivatives from the cartesian coordinates (dux/dx, dux/dy, dux/dz, duy/dx, etc.) to the cylindrical coordinates (duax/dr, duax/dz, duax/dtheta, dur/dr, dur/dz, etc.). Can anyone suggest me how do I do it. due to this I am stuck in my project. please help me out.

thanks in advance.

You can get this information in some vector analysis book, or see for example the Appendix to Batchelor's Fluid Dynamics or Aris (Vectors, Tensors and the Basic Equations of Fluids Dynamics).
