Coanda - once again

Dear all

I ahve serached cfd-online for discussions on Coanda effects. And I find it very interesting. There was a very old discussion (1998) with som e web sites that apparently should contain references about Coanda flows. However, these web sites are no longer available. Could any one give new web sites or reference to papers and books dealing with the Coanda effect.

More specifically I seek measurements (proof) og coanda flows in pipe expansions (from a pipe with a small diamater to a pipe with a large diameter).

Hi

I'm doing an analysis on coanda ejector flows. I have collected some referenes... don't know whether it will match with your requirements. Can you tell a little more on your problem?

Hi

I am especially interested in flows in closed pipe systems. Like a sudden expansion. I am interested in jnowing if this accours all the time (or is it Re-number dependent for example).

also of course in an good paper or text book that explains why the coanda effect occours and under which conditions - again, especially in pipe systems.

I think I am doing a different problem. Anyway, I can suggest you to try this link in which you may be able to get some fundamentals about coanda effect.
