Dear Friends,
I am presently trying out the AUSM-up scheme of Liou. The scheme is an all-speed one, and can be used for low speed flows from 0.001 to high speed flows. The additional advantage of the scheme is the non-necessity of any preconditioning matrix for low speed regime. (AIAA 2003, M.S.Liou). However, the implementation as is given in the paper has led me to some serious difficulties. If anyone has implemented the scheme, it would be nice if they could share their experiences with me. In particular, I have started off with a low speed flow at Mach 0.001 past a cylinder and this has resulted in a non-physical but convergent solution. Thanks in advance Ganesh |
