Is there some good textbooks to learn lage-eddy simulation? It will be very appreciated if someone can give me an advice. Thank you for your attention!

Re: Large-eddy simulation
There is a helpful section in Pope's "Turbulent flows" book. Also, Sagaut wrote a book on incompressible Large eddy simulation. This is a very techynical book though, in my opinion.

For an introduction, you can also have a look to the short course by Piomelli: http://www.glue.umd.edu/~ugo/research/figs/CFD01.ps.gz
To go deeper, Sagaut's book is a good reference as long as you're interested with the formalism of LES (but there is nonetheless discussions on physical and practical aspects of LES in it): http://www.springer.com/sgw/cda/fron...8184-0,00.html |
