Hi, CFD folks!
I have a laminar Newtonian fluid flow in an open channel. The flow is in steady state, I used to solve such kind of problem using transient solving to reach a steady state (after certain time steps) for the purpose to predict the free surface location. A friend of mine mentioned that there is a solving method does not require time marching (but do remesh the domain), is this true or my friend passed me a misleading information? Fred |
