That is the question?
some software companies embed the CFD into the CAD (Catia, Solidworsk...) some other embed the CAD into the cfd it seems to me the later is less expensive in terms of development and would allows the software to be faster to market. I think it more difficult to rewrite or adapt CFD code than CAD software. What are your views? D |

Each way has advantages to the user and each way has some plusses and minuses for development. There is no clear answer and in fact, companies have done both ways so as to try and capture larger numbers of users.
