Error with higher order (2nd, GAMMA) upwind scheme

Hi,

I changed my solver from central to 1st order upwind scheme and it works fine when my cylinder is stationary.

When I tried using higher order schemes, such as 2nd order upwind or GAMMA, I get divergence and erroneous results.

I 've some questions when using higher order upwind scheme:

1. do i have to use higher resolution to ensure stability/accuracy?

2. are these schemes stable/accurate at low Re e.g. 100?

3. do i have to use smaller time step?

i tried to change the resolution and Re but there's still problems.

Hope someone can help. Tks.
