Dear all......

Is there anybody working on elliptic jets?

What sort of elliptic jets? Low speed, high speed, in combustion systems...

In the case of subsonic air jets, to give you a flavour, you should check:

Re: elliptic jet

No, not really.

But you should try the following type of initial literature search: http://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl...tic+liquid+jet

After that try more detailed searches in Web of Science, etc.

If I was you I would research into circular water jets (or liquid jets) and after you are familiar with the important authors, only then you should adventure into elliptic jets.

Mikel

PS: in Google Scholar try words such as noncircular or non-circular instead of elliptic...
