POPULATION BALANCE MODELING
Can somebody guid me to POPULATION BALANCE MODELING.
Any link.... Thanks. |
Re: POPULATION BALANCE MODELING
which is your main interest ? droples, bubbles, particles, cells, people, ... numerics, ... formulations, .. ...
any way: here you have some links http://www.nt.ntnu.no/users/jakobsen/PBE_SOLVER/PopBal/ http://ppg.group.shef.ac.uk/dpb/index.htm |
Re: POPULATION BALANCE MODELING
Very much appreciated.
Too many things, first am interested in the mathematical formulation and studying its type i.e. hyperbolic, elliptic or parabolic. After that try to look for Riemann solvers in the numerical side. Then to see if I can get things with two-phase flow models. Can you tell me more about this last interest please… what do you think os this ??? |
Re: POPULATION BALANCE MODELING
Regarding the mathematical formulation, you can start taking a look in the Barbashin equation:

Population Balance modelling of Particles
Hi ,
I' m new to PBM. Does anyone have notes how to model or go about in using PBM for Particles. This help will be highly appreciated. regards Ashar |
