I'm solving the complete N-S eqns in cylindrical coordinates. However, when I wanted to calculate the CFL number for the same, all references only explained it in one dimension or for Cartesian coordinates. How do I calculate the CFL number for N-S eqns in cylindrical coordinates? |

Problem in cylindrical system is the cells near the axis are too small to calculate larger domain with regular mesh system. I wrote a two phase model in cylindrical coordinates, and it is impossible to convergence very well. good luck! |
