K - epsilon VS SST turbulence model

Hello everybody,

I made the cfd model with three domain, two fluid domains and one porous domain. at the inlet section I put an average pressure and a mass flow rate at the outlet section.
I run the simulation using a k-epsilon model: the results regarding turbulence kinetic energy showed very high values, so i tried to run a model with SST turbulence model.
I had to have a finer mesh with this last turbulence model, so i made a model with just one fluid domain and I used the velocity flow field, turbulence kinetic energy and turbulence eddy dissipation obtained with previous model in corrispondence of interfaces with other domain: the results for turbulence kinetic energy wery mush lower than the previous one (absolutely not comparable).
I made a further check: I used the same model I described for SST model, but changing the turbulence model to k espilon: I expected similar results to the first model I ran, but turbulence kinetic energy was much lower respect to first model (and a little higher than values obtained with SST model): so, what do you think it's wrong with that??

Thank you so much!
