I realize that the scale is smaller or almost closer to kolmogorov scale, as TKE would dissipate as heat, I am modeling using Spallart Allmaras Model which solves for viscosity alone. To tell the truth, I do not understand well your question... if your lenght scale is so small, you are forced to have a computational grid that describes both the tank and the orifice, isn't it?

The flow through the orifice is at very very small Reynolds number and is laminar... what do you want to model?

My motive is to measure the rate of leakage which depends on my physics used for simulation. My first simulation was in fact done with laminar model, but I was a bit skeptic about choosing it. I am trying to find if anybody has done this work before, would help me in correlating. Thanks again for the reply.
