looking for literatures on radiation modeling
 

I will work for developing a radiation model for hypersonic flow. unfortunately I am not clear with this subject at present. Can some friends tell me some reference literatures or offer some advices?

Anderson,

The simplest is sparrow & Cess, "Radiation Heat Transfer". It will suffice if you need only radiation exchange between surfaces.

The "bible" is Siegel & Howell, "Thermal Radiation Heat Transfer". It has everything one might need, but it is not an easy reading, especially to start with.

Personally I like Modest, "Radiative Heat Transfer". It is both comprehensive and well written.

Sorry, but my field is solar energy, not hypersonic flow. I am therefore unfamiliar with the specific literature in this field.
