Hello guys,

I have been reading some documentation about the flow between a stationary and a rotating disks. They talk quite a few times about type I and II instability modes (or Spiral modes of type I and II).
I have found a lot of papers talking about it, but nowhere did I find a actual definition. If anybody could enlighten me, that would be great
