DT plot in XFOIL

1 Attachment(s)
Hello everyone

I am starting xfoil for my project, and i am trying some useful commands. However, when I use DT(or DB) command to plot Dstar \theta of either side, I got 4 lines for each side. According to my understanding, there should be only 2 lines, one for Dstar, one for \theta, no? How can I check the meaning of each line? any way to show a legend or sth?

Thank you very much!

hey there,
Last time i worked with xfoil was three years ago. But i remember there is a similar software based on XFOIL (similar code) , which have a graphical interface. it can help you, it's called XFLR, but i don't know if it can solve your problem tough, just give it a try. i used it for a competion in aerodynamic class and won 1st price thanks to it... I hope it can help...

after using "dt" (or "db") command type in "dump filename" and your data will be saved in the file where there will be only necessary data without extra plots (use ? in vplo menu for help).
