Memory profiling software
Does anybody know a software able to list how much memory each data structure (arrays) is spending during runtime? I guess Valgrind is only able to detect and show memory leakages but the kind of information I'm looking for I have not seen in any software that I know. Vtune also lists the memory demanding but only for the entire program...

Thanks for any help

Re: Memory profiling software
Kdevelop has a tool caled KCachegrind (in the Debug menu). I've never used it, but it seems to be what you're searching for.

I think valgrind can do that.I remember even gdb has some sort of options for looking at the stack but I'm not sure if that is exactly what you are looking for.

Re: Memory profiling software
It seems that Valgrind has a tool called Massif that can do what I'm looking for. Now, my problem is that Valgrind doens't run on Itanium-2 systems :(

Thanks for your hints
