Does anyone know if the Super-C and Hyper-C schemes satisfies the TVD requirement? They certainly don't satisfy Sweby's TVD diagrams limits, but Leonard (1991, The ULTIMATE conservative difference scheme) suggests that the TVD region of Sweby is 'over-restrictive'. Does this mean Sweby's TVD region does not emcompass all of the actual TVD region? Leonard's work was based on the NVD diagram.
For those who can help, any commments would be much appreciated.
Re: TVD ...
It is amazing how no one seems to have any idea what the answer to this quesiton is! I have asked it many times over the last year or so and never recieved an answer.
