Hi: the error function F is defined in matrix form as

F=CtEtEC-TtEC-CtEtT+TtT note 't' represent transpose ,and all the Ct and Et,E,C,Tt,T represents matrix. then how to compute the differentiate F with repect to C?

partial F/ partial c=?

I would suggest better have a look at some tensor-theory. This is going to be complicated.
