Vortex Particle Method

Hi,

Does anyone know a good book wherein the Vortex Particle method is explained?

Thanks,

Gerrit

Cambridge Unviersity Press has a lot of publications on the vortex method.

Re: Vortex Particle Method

There is one book (fairly recent) on vortex methods, by Cottet and Koumoutsakos; "Vortex Methods; theory and practice". There are also two earlier books by A. Chorin (I forget the titles, but they are both excellent introductory books). I can't recall if there are any others specific to this topic.

You may want to read recent papers and/or get copies of theses from MIT and/or Caltech research groups on this topic (Both offer their theses freely online) in the mean time.
