Hi everybody,

For a curved duct, as we all know, there are some separated areas after the bend, and as such we have different friction velocities at different locations. If we want to specify Y+ and keep it low, say less than 5, should we keep the (Y+)max_in_the_whole_domain < 5, or (Y+) just at some specific points (highly separated)? In the latter case, what are the criteria, if any?

Thanks.

Ann
