How can I convert Uabs to Urel?
 

Hi all,

I want to convert U absolute to U relative in cylindrical coordinate system.

For example.My cell locate in (1 2 3).and the velocity vector is (2 3 4).
So in cylindrical coordinate system this cell locate in(a b c).
a=square(1^2+2^2)=2.236
b=arctan(2/1)=63.4
c=3
So I can get the cell's location is (2.236 63.4 3)

But can I get velocity in cylindrical coordinate system?

Ua=square(2^2+3^2)=3.605
Ub=arctan(3/2)=56.3
Uc=3?
