I am modeling the unsteady flow of hot air moving along a straight 2D duct.
The hot flow seems to be lagging behind the wave front. See attached image. Starting from a uniform zero velocity field... after say 500 iterations, the high speed flow has progressed from left to right... but the hot (400K) flow has only moved small distance from the left. Is there something wrong with the energy equation (that I coded) ? https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4rj...it?usp=sharing |
