Is there any people that have background on geometric optics especially solution of eikonal equation and indication of geometrical wave front. Best regards. |

The most simple way of solve the eikonal equation is the ray theory where this equation is transformed in a system of 6 ordinary differenzial equations (3 for the ray position and three for the ray direction) which can be easily solved.
