hi, has anybody experience with multigrid for SIMPLE algorihtm. Peric uses it for outer iterations, is also good for convergence only applied for inner iterations?! what`s about turbulent flows, any modifications,

Thanks a lot

I am not quite sure if I understand the question correctly...

We are using a geometric multigrid environment in combination with SIMPLE algorithm (outer iterations?) for LES and DNS calculations but not for the solution of the systems of equations (inner iterations)... For this we are using the "Strongly Implicit Procedure" (SIP)... But we are thinking about accelerating the solution process by using an algebaic multigrid for the solution of the systems of equations...

regards Michael
