Transient mixed convection in pipe

Default Transient mixed convection in pipe

My problem is the following: I do not obtain numerically a established periodic mode for a 3D-laminar mixed convection in a horizontaland cylindrically, pipe,when I introduice a harmonic disturbance of the heat flux boundary to the pipe wall.Why?Is this case very stable?Please send me some precise references in this topic. With My Best Thanks.
