Sir

I am ejaz from pakistan. sir my problem is that I am chemical engineer and now i want to go for MS aerospace. But somebody told me that i must have BS in Mechanical or Aerospace.

People also saying to me that working with aerospace is like a fraude activity. is this true. I am worried about my career.

plz help and give some suggestions

hai ejaz...

i am hari from india.i am fresh mechanical graduate. i am also looking for ms in aero space or related branches.as far as my knowledge ,in india u need to have degree in mechanical or related branches .any way i get it conformed and mail u later.dont worry about our future... ok ....friend bye..........

hi guys,

Not like that..of course u can enter the field of Aerospace from chemistry background but the disciplines are limited like combustion modelling in cfd,or propellant regression modelling like that...

Why ou are people intersetd in aerospace just tell me what you think?

I think Chemical engg and cfd has got more oppurtunities.

Tt would be very difficult to go study Aerospace without an Aerospace/Mechanical background - but not impossible - the fundamentals of the engineering approach is universal.

Most universities would require that you take a lot of final year undergrad Aerospace design courses to be allowed into post-grad Aerospace courses.

You can go into the Aerospace field with a Chem. degree - look at Propulsion (combustion is an active field), or materials (lots of work on Smart Materials and Composites). At the company I work for, we have several Chemical PhD's doing material science for aerospace applications.
