Default import particle paths

I am a student and I am trying to display experimental heat flux data as a sort of contour plot in fieldview that I have written in to a fvp file. Although when I try to display the points as stationary particles they will not display. The file will import and the scarlar variable shows the variable that I defined in the file. I made the display type spheres, but they still will now show. If any one can offer any help that would be great. Thankyou very much.
