I am new to CFD and learning basics, I have to work on numerical solution of Navier Stokes equation. I just want to know That....... what is main difficulity ..... while solving euler equation. Basically i am working on a problem in which i am facing difficiculties because of Viscous term.

Thanks

HEllo I am saeed mahloo, Aerospace engineer ,student of Iran-MALEK ASHTAR ut. Your difficulty in non-linearity of equation . you can linearize , nonlinear term by linearization: for example x^2 is (x1)*(x) and you should substitue x1 with before iteration. you should guess a value for X1 for example x1=1 and then (1)*(x)=2 then solve this rescent equation. x=1/2 then assump x1=(1/2) then (1/2)*(x)=2..... and you continue..... until x1-x<<<<1 the second difficulty is non defined pressure distribution.... I suggest you study these book : 1- " numerical heat transfer and fluid flow" by suhaz.z.patankar 2- "an introduction to computational fluid dynamics" by versteeg & malalasekera : this book is downlodable in internet but only section to section..... If you need more help Email me.... If you can help me and you have any momentum(EULER) code in 2D I need it ,please read my enquiry in "2D Momentum ,invicid, incompressible,Finite volume" forum, if you can help me please contact me , I work on solving momentum equation on 2D,invicid,incompressible,finite volume . WITH BEST REGARDS
