stirred tank
Hi, I am trying to do stirred tank simulation with Ansys Flotran. The model I have made is a cube representing the fluid volume and then substracting the impeller volume from the cube. The rotional axis is z and i am selecting sliding mash. The problem I am getting is the flow velocities are comming absurd.I did a lot many times and always the velocity at the surface is comming maximum while it should come maximum at the impeller tip. Can anybody please help me solving this problem. Thanks in advance Nilesh

don't use a tet mesh.

hi Donald could you please tell me what should be the geometry?actually i m using cavity to represent the impeller but i dont know how to specify moving walls of this rotor.
