University Project Ideas - Combustion

I am trying to collate ideas for my next years university project. I am looking for any suggestions of a project which are combustion related. Heat Transfer/pressure drop, aerodynamics.

If anyone has an specific ideas/previous work which I could verify against/or generic combustion problems which are interesting to look into that would be great.

Hi. A couple of suggestions:

- Combustion instabilities by means of a reduced order model (acoustic network).

- Soot formation prediction
