Hi,

I'm quite new here, I'm running a multi species simulation and just looking for some advice on the theory side.

My simulation only correctly shows the injected species if I activate the inlet diffusion term. However I was made to understand that if the peclet number is above one then it should be disabled? I've struggled to find any written information on this so I was just wondering if anyone here has experience.

As a side question, is anyone aware of a good book covering mass transfer, diffusion and possibly that aspect of CFD such as information on when inlet diffusion needs to be enabled?

Thanks for any help.
