Hi... what do you think about star cd and fluent for aerospace application ?
I'm considering buying one of them (my (small) compagny builds nano-launchers and we need it for aerodynamics and combustion) Thanks ! |

Combustion is one of STAR-CD's strongest points and it is pretty much the best of the comercial codes by a distance, for external aero it is less well proven and fluent probably has the edge but you could always use STAR-CCM+ which is much better for external aero.
