Why don't you just go the library and check all the journals there

Journal of Fluid Mechanics

Journal of Computational Physics

Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering

Annual review of Fluid MEchanics

Physics of Fluids

etc...

I know it is much simpler just to ask the forum, but for a young researcher it is actually the wrong approach. You need to lear to go to the library and go through journals. You will discover there more than what you need and this can help you when you will look for all kind of different subjects of research, methods, etc..

I can sugest you to have a look at the book of Numerical Recipes which is very good to get started (In the past I even posted a link to their web site).

In any case there are many papers on FD.

Good luck,

PG

(1). Somehow I like this answer. It is like music to me. (2). As a researcher, I have developed the habbit to visit the library (company's, local university's, or local city's libraries) on the regular basis. (3). Since the brain can store a lot of graphics in memory, my approach is simply going through the journals row by row, the articles page by page. These information can somehow help me organize a better feeling about the degree of difficulties involved. (4). That feeling is essential for a professional. One can not expect to climb the highest mountain and come back successfuly simply by trying. One must learn from the experience of others in the previous attempt, even if it looks absurd.
