Valve discharge analysis

Hi,

I am performing a discharge analysis of a valve using Auto desk CFD and here is the problem statement.

The valve has 2 ports going to one chamber. The port (1) has 10 bar stored volume located axial and inlet to chamber and port (2) has 6 bar stored volume located perpendicular and inlet to chamber. The port (1) is initially closed from entering the chamber by a spring, a seal and a pressure from port (1) acting behind the seal to keep it closed.

If the port (2) pressure drops from 6 bar if it is vented then the pressure acting behind the seal also reduces and hence the Port (1) air enters the chamber. After certain period the port (2) pressure becomes zero as it is completely vented out and the pressure from port (1) also vents out from 10bar to zero.

I need to do discharge test by bleeding/venting out port (1) from 10 bar to zero and parallely venting port (2) from 6 bar to zero.

I need to find the time taken to discharge 10 bar pressure air starting from 10 bar and reducing to Zero.

Can any one suggest me how to perform this venting air from the ports in Autodesk CFD.

Thanks
Babumon
