Definition of continuous phase Reynolds number
I am confused as to how people generally define Reynolds number for the continuous phase in a dispersed phase flow.
is the continuous phase density, is the continuous phase velocity, is the channel size where the flow is happening, and is the dynamic viscosity of the continuous phase.
Do we need to multiply it to the volume fraction of the phase or not?
Thanks in advance,
Gaurav
