Hello,
may anybody provide me with a working law of the piston that produces a centered compression (focused in one point) in dimensional form, in 1D and (x,t)?

Thanks

you can see here http://www.amazon.it/Elementi-fluido.../dp/8847004837

the law is represented for an expansion but you can change the sign.
For a real centred shock wave you can adopt an impulsive function. The book of Zucrow is well suited
