Dear friends am beginner in CFD, could u plz explain the physics of Elliptic Parabolic and Hyperbolic Equations

The first ones are generally related to equilibrium problems (defomation, heat transfer, etc), the second ones are related to timeevolving problems with second order derivative in space. For elliptic equations no characteristic curves exist in real space, the parabolic equation has a real characteristic curve in the timespace plane
