Hi CFDers!,

Has anyone come across approximation formulas for grid sizes.

For example, we have the classic y+ equation for the first node height for near wall modelling.

Are there similar approximations (delta x,y,z plus?) for near- & farfield region; e.g. based on the turbulence kinetic energy, pressure gradient etc.

Thanks!
