Dear all!
I have a channel with cross- bars where I'd like to use the F 36 2 function to compute the vertical elevation of the water surface with SSIIM 1. However, due to the cross- bars, this function is extremely unstable and diverges. I don't know how to stabilize it- do you have any idea?! I already tried to make a very fine mesh of straight rectangles- it didn't work..

The computation does work with the F 36 0 function, but is far too inexact and does not create the real water surface elevation which was measured in the pilot experiment.

thanks a lot for your help!!
