Hi Bharat,
It would be more helpful if you could provide links or list the course contents, from the different departments. Further more, it would also help if you could quantify the reason behind your confusion with relevant details. For example - explaining what you expect when you finish the course and your overall aspirations as to what kind of work you see yourself doing ; or is the confusion it from a job perspective ? i.e If I 'm not yet clear, I would prefer taking up a general course/domain that leaves me free to take up what I want, when I do gain clarity. Another example : my graduation was in Automotive Design engineering, and my master's in Mechanical Engineering, with subjects where CFD could be applied. I picked up subjects to strengthen my background, as well as new subjects that I hadn't really seen before, like energy systems and propulsion. I was clear that I wanted to be involved in Design and CFD. My interest extended beyond the automotive domain, and of course we all know that CFD can be applied in so many different areas. |

Hi Shreyas
Many thanks for detailed review. you can find courses here http://graduateschool.vt.edu/graduat...og/courses.htm ,unfortunately I couldnt find the separate course lists. Basically I want to work for aerospace industry but I heard its very difficult for getting defence clearance in USA for indian guys,so I want to kind of play safe. What course would you suggest I should charter on? thanks and regards Bharat |
