Hello,

Could you help me to clear the periodic bounday condition and symmetry boundary condition?

Is it right to simulate flow around a group of regular cubes by a spanwise direction cubes with lateral boundary as symmetry and inlet/outlet as periodic boundary in a paper and Fluent's tutorial (Modeling perioc flow and heat transfer)? I think the lateral boundary should be periodic boundary as well, because the surrounding elements will affect the modeling elements. Mnay thanks.

Best regards Justin
