RCS data

Hello.

I'm testing my 2D code for solving the Maxwell equations. For doing this, I'm looking for RCS data for a typical test problem: the scattering of a TE/TM wave by a perfect conducting NACA 0012 airfoil for different angles of incidence. I have one paper entitled "A least square finite element method for electromagnetic scattering applications" (J. Wu and B. Jiang, 1996) in which this test is considered but, somebody can provide me the reference data for the NACA 0012 or other typical test in 2D?

Thank you in advance,

Ruben

Re: RCS data

I would suggest you to browse the NASA report archives.(Most of the reports can be downloaded for free ).You might come across some reference information.

Hi Harish.

In this archive I found more tests cases and references. Thank you very much!

But, do you know any report/web/book in which the RCS is tabulated. I mean, in the papers only the plot (angle/RCS) is given but for a serious comparison (error computation for example) I need the data, not only a figure.

I'm out of my field here. But one thing which I do for comparison with graphs is extract data points from the graph using digitizer. It works pretty well.
