super sonic flow around a cone
 
Hi,everyone

I am new to cfd. i have been assigned a problem to solve super sonic flow around a cone by using maccormack space marcing technique. I also have to develop a code for that in c language. I am having problem in grid generation and what boundry condition should i take. please help

I am very happy to help you here, yaseer! I enjoy these sort of probs. But can you be a little bit mopre specific with the request, vis-a vis the cone dimensions.

Thank you mr Shane Barry,

The semicone angle of the cone is about 15 to 30 degrees.The length of the cone is about 1metre.If there are complication you can assume the cone to be of infinite length.My guide has told me to take a shock capturing approach.
