Convective term evaluated at time n+1/2

Hi all,

I found an interesting article, but I would like some help to understand it.

At bottom of page 10 of http://txspace.tamu.edu/bitstream/19...-CPSC-Wang.pdf

It seems that convective term (and also term in alpha) is evaluated at time step n+1/2 (formula 1.4) from values of time n and then used as a known value at time step n+1 (formula 1.5) to get a linear equations (1.6).

As I understand, it means that convective term remains constant from one iteration to another, espetially if we are solving a steady-state problem (I would remove term in DeltaT).

Well, I guess that I missed something. How do you understand it ? Thanx,

Lionel
