tetrahedral meshing Codes

Hi:

We have developed our own adaptive CFD-Code for explosion modeling. We use as a input a tetrahedral based unstructured mesh in 3-D and based on triangles in 2-D. In the 2-D I have used EASYMESH and TRIANGEL up to now. These codes are public domain and work well. In the 3-D case I have used GEOMPACK (also public domain), which only works well for simple geometries.

Could anybody recommand a public domain code for tetrahedral meshing on non trivial geometries. The code should also be avalible out the USA.

Thank you very much for your help.

Ciao

Heinz

NetGen is a 2/3D mesh generator using linear triangular/tetrahedral elements: http://nathan.numa.uni-linz.ac.at/netgen/usenetgen.html (C++) GRUMMP is another 2/3D mesh generator using linear triangular/tetrahedral elements: http://tetra.mech.ubc.ca/GRUMMP/ (C++)
