hello,
i m an engineering student working on my final year project " analysis of a vortex tube" i have question, in which catogory is vortex flow classified?? laminar or turbulent ?? i came across dean number, but unable to relate it with vortex tube.

A vortex tube can be also laminar is not necessarily within one category... check Reynolds number, fluctuations, statistic to identify a turbulent flow
