first cell height of a mesh

Hi,

I need to compute the first cell height of my mesh in order to capture boundary layer´s effect.

I have heard something about theoretical results for computing boundary layer thickness. If I can do that, I could place the mesh points below this number.

I am going to make an steady, incompressible laminar case (at first) on a pipe. My Reynolds number (based on hydraulic diameter) is 300. I need to place some prism cells near the wall boundary, but I am not sure where to place the first height of the grid...

Can anybody help me with these computations?

Thanks guys!
