Hi there,

I am new here and I have a generall question...actually I have a problem lol

I dont need any derivations just the equation for:

I need the thermodynamic equation of state for the Lid-Driven-Cavity.

you question is not clear...if you are resolving standard lid-driven cavity for incompressible flows, there is no thermodinamic equation of state.
For incompressible flow, the pressure is not a thermodinamic function

And is there any thermodynamic equation of state for the Lid-Driven-Cavity for a compressible flow?

The equation of state for a perfect gas is p=\rho R T, which applies (as the name suggests) to "massless" gas at moderate temperature (no dissociation, chemical reaction) etc.

So it all depends on what fluid you want to simulate.... the problem itself (the lid driven cavity) is independent of the EOS, in fact, you could try to solve it for honey, given that you have the correct EOS.

In that sense, your question doesn't make much sense to me, as it relates two "independent" fields (the flow problem and the fluid)!
