hey everyone!
I am currently implementing the boundary conditions for my solver, and I have a question for you. I have been reading this article (Inflow/Outflow Boundary Conditions with Application to FUN3D), which is available online at this address. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...62922401,d.dmQ I have already found some typos in it, but I would like to have your opinion on that one. If you go page 8, they defined the Riemann characteristics R+ = -Ui - 2ci/(gamma-1) in Eq. 37. Shouldn't it be R+ = -Ui + 2ci/(gamma-1) instead? The same thing happens in Eq. 39, so that their b coefficient in Eq. 43 is 2R+ instead of -2R+. Is that actually a mistake in the article, or did I miss something? Thank you for your help! Joachim |
