am preparing a flat plate conjugate model consisting of both jet orifices & film holes as part of my academic project. I have created a hot air domain to give inlet boundary conditions for the incoming hot air, but the walls of these domain have taken aluminium as their material & this hot air domain comes & sits on top of the flat plate which is titanium, so there is a structure to structure interaction instead of hot air to structure interaction. how to proceed?

Hello Ganesh,
Can you please attach a picture of your geometry? It will help me understand your geometry better. I think, the hot air domain should be made fluid in geometry modeler under the parts. Also, you need to change the its cell-zone condition to fluid in fluent. Hope this helps... |
